The WatchDog is the ideal protective box for the safe storage and charging of lithium batteries, particularly against fire hazards. Thanks to its special design and flame-resistant opening, charging cables can be safely routed to the outside. Should a fire occur, the resulting pressure is vented to the outside via the upper ventilation holes, while the smoke is filtered to keep harmful substances out. The box can withstand temperatures of up to 800°C inside, while the outer walls are limited to a maximum of 80°C. The resulting gas never reaches temperatures above 150°C. When charging a battery in the box, the maximum charge size of 300 Wh must not be exceeded, and only one battery should be charged at a time. The internal dimensions of the box are 250 x 165 x 90 mm, the external dimensions are 300 x 220 x 165 mm, and the weight is 1970 g. The WatchDog thus offers the highest level of protection and safety for your lithium batteries.
